About Us

Our Story

Jeff Pypker and Hank Ufkes started Camber Construction and Design in 1997. 
Jeff had been working for another barn building company.  Hank had experience  in agricultural, as well as residential construction. 
We put our skills together under the name Hank had created, and Camber Construction was begun!  We  started out with one truck and a few of the necessary tools, subcontracting for another contractor. Eventually, after a good relationship with him, we began contracting our own jobs. 

Our passion and focus has always  been building agricultural buildings: barns, shops, and sheds.  Through the years we have also constructed commercial and residential projects, as well as a few renovations and repairs for insurance companies.

In May 2006, Camber Construction and Design incorporated and became Camber Construction Inc.

Hank and Jeff’s successful partnership continued until 2009 when Hank decided to change his role in Camber from owner to employee, supporting his wife as she opened a store in town. He continued as such until he moved out of the area.  

Jeff and Carol Pypker are now the sole owners of Camber Construction Inc. We appreciate our hard-working, skilled and respectful employees, all of whom are journeymen in the trade. We are proud of our employees and our workmanship. We build good barns!
